My background is in functional scientific programming and research, of which I wanted to complement with the workplace and industry skill set oriented Hive curriculum. My main branch of study in Hive was algorithms and AI, with many supplementary courses and extra-curricular activities in system management, database operations, game and web design and more. Still, the biggest thing to learn from Hive was the rigorous work flow, as well as the skills and mindset I need in order to not just create a working product, but to find creative and ambitious ways to solve problems. My time with Hive taught me in addition to advanced software engineering also excellent skills in evaluating and rigorously testing my own and other people’s work, both manually and by creating automated resources.

My university science background has made me a lifelong learner and curious about all things new and exciting in life. My previous work in dramatic arts and all of my studies have proven to me that challenge is not something I need to be afraid of. In fact, my absolute dream would be to work in a safe and empathetic environment, and from that status, be surrounded by constant personal growth and new things to learn with new solutions to difficult problems with other people. Creativity and serious puzzle solving are the states where I truly thrive, especially if I have the option to share ideas with great people. I try to live by this with everything in life. A curious life lived alongside interesting people is a life worth living.

My other passions include opera, tabletop games and cats. I live in Helsinki. I have worked as a professional actor around Finland for almost ten years. I also have written several plays and directed and taught theater. In my spare time you might find me coding my own hobby projects, reading about new discoveries in the fields of mathematics and theoretical physics, or failing myself upwards in bouldering.
